Hi, I'm Joy Fletcher, CPT and Owner
If having an intimate relationship with your favorite lounge chair is not the only thing on your bucket list, you’re in the right place. Especially if you’ve tried to stay fit on your own and noticed it’s gotten a lot harder.
The problem is your body changes with age and so does your fitness abilities. And it can be hard to find a trainer who understands exactly what a baby boomer needs to improve their fitness while keeping them injury free.
That’s why I’m so dedicated to helping seniors. Because I’m a senior, just like you, and I know older adults can be fit and strong with the proper training. I’ve helped plenty of seniors get amazing results, be more confidence, reduce their pain and stiffness, have more energy, and improve their balance so they have less fear of falling. And a fit senior, will continue to have an active lifestyle so they don’t have to stop doing the things they enjoy.

Testimonials

Since training with Joy and Lori, I’m in better fitness shape than I’ve been in the past 20 years! My balance, endurance, strength, posture and flexibility have improved dramatically. I love the sense of community in the Zoom classes. I’ve even lost weight although I'm not dieting at all.

I've taken Joy's circuit classes for at least 7 years now. Not only are they always fun, but her attention to every single muscle in the body, large and small, and to correct form--always--has enabled me to continue doing activities I love: skiing, both downhill and cross country, hiking, gardening, and even backpacking.

Joy's circuit classes surprise, challenge and delight - in equal measure. She also manages to explain how and why a movement done correctly benefits us. What a deeply knowledgeable and graceful and real instructor Joy is - someone who cares skillfully for our fitness community.

I've been taking Joy's class for 9 yrs. It's the expertise and instructional style that are the main attraction for us. Madeline and I like Joy's well designed hour long circuit class. We know that the chosen exercises will focus on all the muscles. And we feel that the expert instruction helps us not to waste our time, and prevents us from getting injured.

As an over-60-fit-woman, I always feel challenged and have met all my fitness goals working with Joy and Lori. They give wonderful demonstrations and provide verbal instructions about form throughout the workout so you're able to workout at your own level. It's a very supportive sense of community.

Years ago, my doctor felt falling was my biggest health risk. During COVID I moved my training with Joy to Zoom. With her warm, friendly, upbeat patience she continues to adjusted my routines so that I have improved in balance, strength and flexibility all over. I highly recommend working with Joy!
